Delicious Grain-Free & Gluten-Free Tahini Bread Recipe

Sesame seeds have been part of our diet for thousands of years and are a wonderful source of healthy fats, protein, B vitamins, minerals, fiber, antioxidants and other beneficial plant compounds. They are incredibly versatile and can be used in a variety of ways in cooking. 

We are always looking for innovative ideas which will add nutrition to our kid's meals and with a container of gorgeous SOCO artisanal Tahini (ground sesame seeds) on hand, we have set out to make a healthier, high protein, grain-free, gluten-free bread alternative. 

Ingredients:

2 x organic free range eggs (or egg replacement)

1/2 cup x SOCO Tahini

2 tbsp x coconut nectar (or other sweetener)

1 tbsp x apple cider vinegar

½ tbsp x water

¼ tsp x salt

¼ tsp x baking soda

½ tsp x baking powder 

 

Method:

Line a mini loaf pan with baking paper and grease all over.

Preheat the oven to 350'F.

Add all the ingredients into the bowl and stir well to combine.

Transfer the batter into the prepared baking tray.

Bake at 350°F for 25-27 minutes. Insert a skewer into the bread and if it comes out clean it is ready!

Once cooled, turn onto a wire rack. Let it completely cool before serving.
