It is SO hot in LA right now, that we have decided to ditch the traditional breakfasts on rotation in our household and opt for an icy start to the day!
These are so easy to make - particularly if you use a defrosted Tummy Thyme cube like we have been doing! Otherwise, you can blitz up some fruit, sprinkle some good quality granola throughout and add some thick Greek yoghurt for good measure (and nutrition)!
1 x Pear & Cardamom Tummy Thyme cube (or 5oz of apple or pear fruit puree)
1 x cup blueberries, blended
1 x cup of Greek yoghurt (if unsweetened, mix through 1-2 tsp of maple syrup)
1/2 x cup Granola
Grab any icy pop mould you have on hand (here are the ones we used - Jumbo reusable pop mold set )
1. Alternate spooning layers of the fruit puree into each mold, sprinkle with granola, then top with the Greek yoghurt etc. until the mould is full. For clear lines, freeze each layer for 1 hour before adding the next.
2. Pop the stick into the mold and freeze for 4 hours (or overnight).
3. Enjoy for breakfast!!
